The HWIS Sports Program supports physical health, confidence, discipline, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation of movement. Students participate through required Physical Education classes, competitive varsity teams, House activities, and school-wide sporting events.

Physical Education

Physical Education is required for all students. Classes expose students to different activities throughout the year while developing fitness, movement skills, sportsmanship, and healthy habits.

House Activities

Interhouse Sport and Sports Day

Sports are an important part of the HWIS House system. Interhouse activities allow Heracles, Wukong, Ixbalam, and Setna members to compete, cooperate, and represent their communities.

Sports Day brings students together through physical challenges, teamwork, friendly competition, and school spirit. House Points may also recognize sportsmanship and positive participation.
