We welcome families to express their interest in Hong Wen International School. The Admissions Team will guide applicants from the initial application through assessment, review, and placement.
From application to enrollment
Follow the steps below to begin the admissions process at HWIS.

Begin by submitting an admissions enquiry and providing initial information about the student. The Admissions Team will contact your family and explain the appropriate application requirements and next steps.

After receiving the enquiry and application information, the Admissions Team will review the submitted materials and contact the family regarding the next steps. Where appropriate, a meeting may be arranged to understand the student’s academic background and learning needs.
Placement Assessment
Applicants are generally invited to complete placement assessments in English and Mathematics. Students may also meet with teachers or school staff on the assessment day.
Admissions Decision
Following the assessment, the Admissions Team will review the results together with the application materials and determine whether an offer of placement can be made.
Enrollment
Families accepting an offer complete the required academic, financial, document, registration, and enrollment procedures provided by the school.

The application and assessment process helps HWIS understand each student’s academic background, learning needs, and readiness for the appropriate grade level and program.
