HWIS Parent-Teacher Conference
Building upon the tremendous success of last semester’s Parent-Teacher Conference (PTC), HWIS once again welcomed parents for an engaging and insightful session aimed at fostering closer collaboration between educators and families.
This conference provided an invaluable opportunity for parents to gain a comprehensive understanding of their children‘s academic progress, reinforcing our commitment to transparency and student-centered learning.
Throughout the event, our highly dedicated and professional faculty—comprising AP course instructors and core subject teachers—delivered detailed briefings tailored to each student’s strengths, areas for improvement, and overall trajectory since the beginning of the semester.
By presenting data-driven assessments and personalized feedback, teachers ensured that parents left with a clearer picture of their child‘s educational development and strategies for continued success.
The level of parental engagement was truly commendable. Many took meticulous notes, asked thoughtful questions, and actively participated in discussions—demonstrating precisely the kind of involved and proactive attitude that HWIS values in its parent community.
As we continue to uphold academic excellence, we are reminded of the words of educational reformer John Dewey: “Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.” By fostering collaboration between teachers and parents, we ensure that learning remains a dynamic and lifelong journey for every student at HWIS.
