HWIS varsity girls basketball team

HWIS varsity girls basketball team faced off against the junior boys team from another school in an intense and hard-fought game. Despite the challenging competition, the players displayed incredible bravery, commitment, and effort.

Each player gave their all on the court, showcasing the result of countless hours of training and preparation.

Coach Mr. Siso Mahlalela’s unwavering dedication to the team was evident throughout the game, as he encouraged and guided the players with skill and passion. His hard work continues to be a driving force behind the team’s growth and resilience.

The energy from the HWIS crowd was palpable, with students and faculty cheering passionately for the team. The strong support from the audience lifted the spirits of the players, showing that the true strength of a team is not only found in the game but in the community behind it.

As legendary coach John Wooden once said, “Sports do not build character. They reveal it.” Though the game didn’t end in victory, the courage, sportsmanship, and perseverance shown by the team are a testament to their character.
