Sports Day

HWIS Interhouse Sports Day

Last week, HWIS hosted its largest-ever interhouse event, bringing together over 200 students and teachers for a day of friendly competition and camaraderie.

The event featured a wide range of activities, including volleyball, basketball, badminton, frisbee, soccer, table tennis, chess, cup stacking, and other fun games.

For many, it was a chance to not only showcase their skills but also work with peers from different grades, creating a sense of unity and collaboration. It was the first time so many students participated together, highlighting the importance of team spirit, perseverance, and mutual support.

By the end of the event, students had learned that winning isn’t the only goal—it‘s about working together and building connections across the school community. As the day wrapped up, a shared sentiment echoed: “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much” —Helen Keller.
