Taiwan Tea x SDGs English Summer Camp-Part II
On August 9th and 12th, the Tea Harmony Sustainability Student Volunteer Team successfully hosted a unique “Taiwan Tea x SDGs English Summer Camp” that combined contemporary and future perspectives. The teenage participants delved deep into Taiwan’s tea culture while exploring the connection between the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the tea culture through English discussions.
The camp kicked off with interactive games like Pictionary that quickly brought the students together. They then engaged in team artwork, observed the ecosystem of an organic tea garden, and even crafted their own tea bags. The camp culminated in group discussions where participants developed strategies to introduce Taiwan’s tea to the international market, setting the stage for the global promotion of Taiwan’s tea culture and sustainability concepts.
This summer camp not only united teens in exploring the global appeal of sustainable development and Taiwan’s tea culture but also became one of the most anticipated youth events of the summer!
