”For our project, we design and compare anti-seismic systems for small-scale wooden building. By using advanced shock-absorbing materials, mass dumpers and creative joint mechanisms, we aim to test the class of technology, defining the resistance to seismic episodes. These models will show how effective these seismic protection techniques can be for wooden buildings, helping to improve safety and sustainability in areas prone to earthquakes, just like Taiwan.“
