HWIS at PASMUN 2025!
Over the weekend of March 1st-2nd, our talented delegates represented Hong Wen International School at the Pacific American School Model United Nations (PASMUN) 2025, showcasing their skills in diplomacy and debate!
Iris Yeh served as the Co-Chair of General Assembly 3.
Paris represented Mexico in GA3, debating Developing Integrated Immigration Processes to Align Migrant Skill Sets with Labor Needs.
Wendy Dong also represented Mexico, this time in the Advisory Panel, debating Mitigating Job Obsolescence in Light of Automation.
Hannah Culpepper represented Ecuador in the Security Council, discussing Addressing Maritime Security and Ensuring Safe Passage Through the Red Sea’s Strategic Shipping Lanes.
Bella Hsieh took on the role of Pakistan’s delegate in the Human Rights Council, debating Ending Gender
Apartheid and Addressing the Root Causes of Organ Trafficking.
